What LulaSign does

The journey from PDF to a verified, signed document, and the words LulaSign uses along the way.

Updated 18 October 2026

LulaSign takes one or more PDFs, sends them to the people who need to act on them, and produces a locked final PDF that anyone can verify later.

The journey

  1. You prepare a signing request: add the PDFs, the people, what each person must do, and the fields they must complete.
  2. LulaSign checks the request and tells you what still needs attention before you can send it.
  3. Each person gets a secure link by email. They confirm their access, usually with a six-digit code, and complete only the fields assigned to them.
  4. When everyone has finished, LulaSign locks the final PDF and creates its verification record.
  5. You review the result and release it to the people who should receive a copy.
  6. Anyone can check a saved copy later on the Verify a document page.

Words you will see

  • Request: one signing job. It can hold several PDFs.
  • Recipient: anyone on the request. Each recipient has a role: Signer, Witness, Approver or Viewer.
  • OTP: the six-digit one-time code a recipient enters before opening the documents.
  • Final review: the step after signing where the sender approves or withholds the completed documents.
  • Verification code: the code printed on the final documents that opens their public completion record.
